Your Baby Carter Obsession is Making You Miss the Point

Author: Gangstarr Girl | Filed under: News

I discovered today, during my daily social media crawl, that Baby Jayonce was born. I’m not sure what her name is (nor do I care) but people were arguing on whether it was Blue Ivy or Ivy Blue. Sigh. Why are we so vapid? People care more about celebrities and drama than anything else in the world. Double sigh. In other news, I think this guy understands how I feel . He wrote this dope poem entitled, “Your Junk Will Be Televised” in homage to Gil Scott-Heron’s “The Revolution Will Not be Televised.” This is great. Watch:

i think i figured it out ! we all feel like friends of bey’s. we’ve seen her thru her ups and downs (even though she didn’t really have any downs) but we’re all just so excited about the whole ordeal cuz to us, she’s just a good friend that’s FINALLY had her baby and we’re just so happy for her. *shrugs*

*sighs* if only people knew……..People care about themselves, not Celebrities!!!!…..oh wait….?…. is it the other way around? I’m confused……Too much of that paper, makes people dumb……

It’s sad that something which is a beautiful and awesome event- a new life in the world (any new life, not just “Jayonce”‘s)- can be spoiled by over-exposure.  It’s as if “they” have instantly devalued all of the other new lives that joined us.   Love the poem!

I’m happy for her too but it’s one thing to be happy for her and completely obsessed. I vote the latter for most people.
