Charlene Kaye Feat. Kalae Nouveau in ‘Woman Up’ (Video)

I’ve been following Kalae Nouveau (formerly Kalae All Day) for a while, so I was happy to see that she’s still making music. The latest is her feature with Charlene Kaye entitled, “Woman Up” (Dave Scalia Remix).
This is my introduction to Charlene Kaye but if Kalae likes her enough to collaborate, she must be something special. Anyway, the following song is a fun upbeat track about being a superwoman. It’s not about having superwoman syndrome as in, not needing anybody because or never show emotion. It’s more about being human, humble and resilient even through all the stuff we have on our plates–even when those plates come crashing down. That’s my interpretation of it.
Lawd knows I need to hear music like this. I’ve been really rollercoaster on the mood front lately with unfortunately more dips than highs. But anyway, check out the visually stunning black and white video and be uplifted.
P.S. Black and white seems to be very on trend this season. I don’t think it ever goes out of style but it seems to be turned up with a vengeance these days.
