Shop New Orleans: United Apparel Liquidators
I went to New Orleans back in July for the 2013 Essence Music Festival and had a blast participating in panels, day parties and pop up shops but there’s one gem tucked away in the French Quarter that could be easily missed if you’re not looking for it. Luckily, I found it. Enter UAL, which stands for United Apparel Liquidators. It’s a small thrift shop that specializes in low to high-end gear at affordable prices–emphasis on the high-end and emphasis on affordable as the items in this store are anywhere from %70-%90 off the original price. This place is a bargain fashionista’s (and fashionistos too) paradise, especially for those who are interested in labels like Chanel, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Jacobs and more. Prices range from $10 up to a couple of thousand (mostly for Chanel) for clothing and accessories. Even sweeter is the fact that they un-box new items every day and the designer gear is always unworn.

This blazer had me at hello but I’ve been cutting back on the leopard print. I have a lot of leopard print and it’s kind of ridiculous.
The space is small but the inventory is massive.
Chanel purses weren’t nor have they ever been in my budget, not even in a thrift shop lol. Hopefully one day.
