So…Am I the Only One Who Thinks Drake Needs a Psychiatrist?

[ 2 ] August 6, 2012 |

This is my face after listening to Drake “and Aaliyah’s” “Enough Said:”

At this point, everything Drake does is a blur because it all sounds the same but I am offended and concerned that he dragged Aaliyah into his forlorn world of emo bullshit. Think about it, Drake is obsessed with a woman he will never meet, which is, well, nutty, and collaborating with her on a less than stellar song…without the assistance of Missy or Timbaland is just wrong. And for my final thought:

Drake, sir, your infatuation with Aaliyah calls for an intervention…or a séance. At least with the latter option, Aaliyah’s spirit can come back from the grave and give you a side eye or possess you, that way you can truly be a woman, which is what you seem to be going for these days. That is all.

LOL. Well said, Starr! I haven’t even listened to the song…and can’t. I’ll just have to stumble upon it by accident and find myself in the midst of being aurally assaulted.

I don’t know what Aubrey’s deal is. All the singing. And not to mention all of the singing. SMH.

But yeah, not including Missy and Timbaland is a BAD move…regardless of the blessings of the estate.

  2. Him getting two tattoos related to her (her face and 416), is nutty, and I’m truly getting turned off by his actions.  I’m a Drake fan, but I don’t co-sign everything he says and does.  Even though I like the track, I do feel that Aaliyah should’ve been left out of it.  Let her RIP!
