Featured By Parlour Magazine For My Travel Fetish
I love to travel…minus the hassle to get through the airport and the anxiety of sitting on a plane for ungodly hours. All of the hustle and bustle is worth it once you get to your destination and take in new sights, tastes and sounds. If I were a trust fund baby, I’d travel all the time. Better yet, if I could teleport, help us all. Anyway, I was featured by Parlour Magazine, other ladies who have a case of wanderlust and they blog about it often. The Parlour feature is called “Travel Seven,” and it’s seven quick facts from people about favorite places they’ve been, essentials they need when traveling and all that good stuff. I chose Japan as my favorite place. You can see the video evidence of those shenanigans across Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Kyoto here but make sure to hit up that Parlour feature by clicking here.
In other news, speaking of travel, I did well for myself this year. I got invited on a trip to Tobago to cover Tobago Fashion Weekend (for Black Enterprise), which I will post some pics of eventually, and then I went to Japan for my honeymoon as a wedding present, and got to cross that off my bucket list; and soon…very soon, I will be attending the third annual Food Wine and Rum Festival in Barbados with two of my girlfriends. Attending a food festival internationally is another bucket list item I get to cross off.
2012 has been quite the ride…and it’s still not over!

Awesome! I can’t wait until I can visit Tokyo, it’s on my travel bucket list : )
Ever since I’ve been I’ve been telling everybody that they have to go. Seriously, everyone should visit there at least once in their life!
I’m sold! 😀
