Nicki Minaj for Mac’s Viva Glam
Nicki recently broke the news on Twitter that she landed a solo lipstick deal with Mac Cosmetics.
“Ready for my new VIVA GLAM lipstick? I’m going solo as MAC’s VIVA GLAM girl beginning February 2013!!! #LavenderIsTheNewPink” Eventually the Barbie Cult made #LavenderIsTheNewPink a trending topic at Nicki’s request, so that they could get a glimpse of the first visuals, posted above.
Lavender is a pretty color but the shades that Nicki Minaj gravitates toward always end up looking less chic and more Tyrone Biggums, even with a liner. I’m an avid purple and pink lipstick fan but I go for deeper, brown girl friendly shades and also use liners and glosses when necessary. I do not have faith that this lipstick won’t make me look chalky so, I’ll be staying away from it but congratulations to Nicki anyway.

I agree Star! I’m also of the chocolate persuasion, and I know I wouldn’t be able to pull off such light shades of lipstick.
