You already know how I feel about this Harlem Shake viral epidemic based on the post I wrote explaining my Harlem Shake angst, and how I got introduced to the dance as an actual Harlem girl (before I jumped ship for Brooklyn lol). My little rant, of course, did nothing to stop this virus from encouraging rhythmically challenged culture vultures from spazzing out like maniacs for the sake of a trend, not even knowing its true origins. However, I came across a video that some how makes me feel vindicated and I shall call it, “the Harlem Bake.” Bwahahahaha:
Admittedly, I laughed loud and hard. That was mean. But in all seriousness, I do hope that guy is ok.
But damnit, back to fuckery…
