Bangz Responds to Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Control’ Verse
Ok so, just yesterday I had a conversation with my friend Steph about how rappers have gone waaaaay too far with responding to Kendrick Lamar’s verse on “Control.” Sure, responding to a perceived threat to your mc-hood is one of the founding ideologies behind hip-hop but dude, the rappers that Kendrick Lamar actually did call out, two of which who were on the song, haven’t even retorted. Steph brought up a good point. It seems more like these men are feigning machismo because they’re insecure and it’s coming across more as them fighting the air than anything. Yet it’s not slowing down just yet. Remember Bangz? Well, he has now joined the ranks of rappers who weren’t even mentioned that felt the need to respond. Here you go:
I prefer songs more of the “Take You to the Movies” variety but whatever.
Now it’s time for me to go windmill the air. Damn you hip-hop!

I’m preparing a response too. I’m a juggler, I wasn’t mentioned in the track, and have nothing to do with the rap community at all, but I still was able to come up with a reason to be offended by what KL said. Expect my diss track to appear on YouTube tomorrow.
LOL
That fight the air analogy is perfect! That’s exactly what it’s like with the ones responding who weren’t mentioned. It’s like, enough already.
