RIP Aaliyah Dana Haughton 2013
I’m not fond of RIP posts because it’s not going to bring the person back. Plus, you can commemorate them on days other than their death day if they meant that much to you but today I was moved in honor of Aaliyah Dana Haughton. I still cannot believe that she died on this day in 2001. She’s the first celebrity death that actually made me cry. I still miss her and wonder what she would have been. She was a friend in my head, and back in high school my best friend and I always said that we’d one day be a part of Timbaland and Missy’s crew, which also included Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Magoo and Playa, of course. Anyway, RIP Baby Girl.
