This video has been circulating since last week but I’m posting it because it made me smile. Basically, it’s a quick flick where Lupita Nyong’o talks about how she learned how to braid hair. She says she didn’t learn until college but once she did, she intended to use the skill as a side hustle. Watch and see how that worked out for her.
I also had a hair braiding side hustle, in high school and in college…but I did charge. I didn’t charge much but I got by.
