Black Caesar, 1973
Plot: Foine a$$ Fred Williamson stars as Tommy Gibbs a man raised in the ghetto who grows up to become Harlem’s top kingpin. Angry at the racist society around him…
he sees maximizing his power as the solution to his rage. He performs a free-lance hit on a Mob contract to attract the attention of the head of a Mafia family and gains their acceptance but peace doesn’t last as he eventually starts a war.
Soundtrack:

Spearheaded by James Brown, the lead track, “The Boss” was sampled by Nas for “Get Down” on his 2002 album God’s Son
