Christina K Salutes Big Maryland Style
Rapper/Producer Christina K might be from “Murrland” but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t up on Big. In fact, she made a song called “Maryland” a couple of years ago that paid homage to her hometown but also to Biggie at the same time because she rapped over his beat for “Every Day Struggle” ( from Ready to Die). She begins the song by saying, “Biggie said he was ready to die on this track, but I’m ready to live so I had to flip it.”

P.S. Christina K is the real mastermind behind Nas and Green Lantern’s “Black President.” I’ll have to repost the interview I did with her for Honey magazine, but in the meantime, check out her music HERE.
