Guru Issues Statement to Yo! Raps After Surgery

Well, not only did Guru survive and begin recovery from both his heart attack and surgery, but now he’s well enough to give a quick word to the rest of the world. In an exclusive statement given to Yo! Raps, Guru had this to say about his situation and the over-speculation on the Internet:
“I am doing fine and I am recovering! I’m weak though. Solar is the only person who has the accurate info on my situation. Any info from anybody else is false! I appreciate your well wishes and all the love!”
We know Guru has been working with Solar the last couple years, but man, kind of a diss to Gang Starr partner DJ Premier, eh? Regardless, we’re just glad Guru’s fine, and let’s hope he gets back on the mic some time soon!
