Chile’s Ana Tijoux Comes To New York’s SOB’s
Ana Tijoux will take the stage at SOB’s on Monday, August 1st. The Chilean emcee will be performing with her live band in what will be her only New York City show during 2011.
The performance starts at 8:30PM, but prior to the show there will be a free panel discussion (about women in hip-hop) at 6:30PM featuring Martha Diaz of the Hip Hop Education Center. Tickets for the show are $15.00 but if you attend the panel your ticket will only cost $10.
Other ladies rocking the mic that night will be Nitty Scott MC, Jasmine Solano, Genesis Be, and Angel Haze.
