Angel Haze Encourages Self-Determination in ‘A Tribe Called Red’ [Video]
Angel Haze just dropped the video is for “A Tribe Red,” her latest single from her debut album, Dirty Gold (released December 2013). The video, directed by Rollo Jackson is black and white and minimalist as Angel Haze in lyrically, as usual. According to the Detroit-raised, New York-based rapper, the song is about “making a decision to be the difference in your life.”

Yay for clothes and lyricism! Sorry I had to put that out there but we are in the era of the “bad bitch” and wifeys whose only claim to success is marrying a rich man and subsequently acting the entire fool on reality TV because of it, so I appreciate women like this in hip-hop even more.
