Brandy, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Yo-Yo reunited on the Queen Latifah show to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their classic remix of Brandy’s “I Wanne be Down.” It was a surprise that caught Brandy off guard.
Um…20 years though? These ladies got together to record back when Brandy was a 15-year-old newbie! Wow. Time just vaporizes, doesn’t it?
Here’s a quick snippet from that reunion where Queen Latifah shares that she rewrote her verse after hearing MC Lyte’s.
Lol, now that’s hip-hop! Queen murdered her verse too.
