Fuse TV to Air Nas ‘Illmatic’ Special For 20-Year Anniversary
Can you believe that Nas’ classic debut Illmatic is 20 this year? Neither can I but obviously time gives no effs about us so here we are scratching our heads, but also celebrating the milestone. As of today, there is a special 20th anniversary 2-disc edition of this groundbreaking album entitled, Illmatic XX, available for all the Stans and collectors. Fuse also got in on the fun with a 3-part series featuring appearances from Jungle (Nas’ brother), DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Irv Gotti, Kevin Liles, Nas himself, and more. It premieres today on Fuse.tv. I couldn’t find any obvious specifics like, you know, the time it will air (no one, not even Fuse seemed to provide that info) but check Fuse’s site periodically for more information.
