LOL at “Time is for White people.” Man, “African Time” is definitely very real. But anyway, I’d can’t wait to hear what new music she’s working on, especially if there will be musical influences from Cameroon.

It’s refreshing to see more Black Americans trace their ancestral lineage. I recently received my genealogy report, and I’m still looking into it more, based on the current data I now have. I find the process of tracing your deep roots awesome, and I’m looking forward to what else I may uncover.

I like Erykah’s line, “A better Erykah in America.”

That’s awesome. Where do your roots trace back to? (This is Starr btw).

Hi Starr! Nice ID! I discovered from my genealogy and DNA reports, that I’m of Mozambican descent, with traces of Portuguese. The latter makes sense, since Portugal colonized Mozambique for centuries – didn’t know that until I looked up info on Mozambique. I’ll definitely be planning a trip there in the future. I can’t wait to see the homeland of my ancestors!
