G Vids – Kween Kash Represents For the Cool Moms x #BlackLivesMatter
Kween Kash and I used to stomp the same hip-hop grounds back in the day. She’s a beast on the mic and never lost her cool, even through marriage and motherhood. That being said, she took the concept of #BlackLives matter to a new level with “I’m in Love With Theo.” Kash is the mother of two boys, one of whom recently turned one so she created a tribute video by flipping “I’m in Love With the Coco.”
She mentioned that this was her way of celebrating her children but also humanizing them. It’s sad that Black people still have to convince people of our humanity and of the fact that we’re not monoliths, even when it comes to our children but that is the world we live in.
