There are a lot of fake celebrities who have lost touch with reality, in addition to some simple etiquette practices that people don’t think should exist on the wild wild web.     I agree with most of the things you said here. People act like Twitter is some sort of validation for their existence so having more Twitter followers means they are more important and therefore more popular. I admit that I used to want a lot of followers but then I realized how lame it was and I’m happy with my 300 b/c that’s a lot for some nobody blogger like myself.

    Also I think ppl. should engage ppl. when they first start following but sometimes when you start following someone new, they welcome you as a new follower but don’t follow back. That annoys the crap out of me and that’s what I call Tweetarded. I have stopped following ppl. like that. My thing is how are you gonna go out of ur way to tweet me or dm to say thanks for following & not follow back? Sorry, you are not that important and I am unfollowing now. Anyways, great video blog, I enjoyed it!

    I love it! Tweetardation… the lingo is so on point and everything you said is so true. Social media has really made unimportant people feel important when they no in real life they have nothing to offer. My petpeeve is people thinking they know me based on me tweets. I’m like fool… you don’t know me… lol.
