MC Lyte Discusses Nicki Minaj/Lil’ Kim

I love Lyte. I absolutely love her.  Props to Hip-Hop Sisters. She’s probably the most accessible lady MC out there–really down to Earth and genuinely supportive of women, especially those in hip-hop.  But anyway, here she did an interview shortly after Vh1 Divas and provided some observant and thoughtful insight on the Nicki/Kim beef situation.

“Those that need to be more worried about Nicki’s record are Fergie, Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado.”  Amen.

LOL at the reporter trying to get something scandalous out of Lyte. I see you girl, I’ve been there.

    I love how poised and mature my soror MC Lyte was in this interview. It was great to get some perspective on this from someone with a level head that’s legendary in hip hop. I hope that anyone who may be thinking of doing yet another tired Nicki diss track watches this video first.
