Come To The Best Music Writing Reading Tonight!
I didn’t previously mention this here but a story I contributed to an April 2009 issue of XXL was selected as part of Da Capo’s Best Music Writing of 2010. The story was a break down of Nas’ Illmatic, where we went back and talked to some of the key players (producers, a&r etc) who made the album happen. Tonight there will be a reading where some of the writers who were recognized (for various stories) will present their work and I will be participating. I know it’s last minute but try to make it out if you can.
