As much as I love to have my nails polished, I don’t always have the time or funds to get gel manicures or to sit and wait for the base coat, polish and bottom coat to dry. Enter Rimmel London’s Lasting Finish Pro…
The good folks over at Tractenberg & Co. sent me a few bottles a few months ago and I’ve been playing with them all summer. The verdict is that I like! The product is described as “super durable chip resistant nail lacquer with shine release complex.” It claims to provide a professional finish for up to 10 days.
The truth: The longest I managed to get with no chipping was 6 days. But even then, the chipping wasn’t hideously bad. Plus, my nails don’t take to nailpolish very well because my skin is super oily so it’s a big deal when I can go a day without any chipping.
The best thing about this line of polish is that the base and top coat are built in and it dries in about 30 seconds. What more can you ask? Exactly!
